Dry Van

Trailcon Leasing’s fleet includes dry vans from all the leading trailer manufacturers in North America. By definition, a dry van is a trailer that is non-insulated, and has no attached heating or cooling equipment that is designed to maintain the temperature of the load. Non-temperature sensitive products such as dry goods, fashions, boxboard, and general merchandise are transported in dry vans. Trailcon Leasing’s dry vans are 26 to 53 feet in length

Reefer

Temperature sensitive products such as produce, pharmaceutical supplies and medicines are transported by Trailcon Leasing’s reefer vans. A reefer van is an insulated trailer that has an external attached refrigeration unit. These trailers generally have insulated floors, walls and roof and are designed to keep the internal temperature constant with the load. The reefer is usually diesel operated. These vans are generally 53 feet in length.

Heated Van

Trailcon Leasing’s fleet of heated vans is reliable and dependable when external conditions reach extreme cold. A heated van is and has an external heating unit attached to the trailer. The trailer is designed to maintain a constant temperature level internally. The heater is usually diesel operated. Trailcon Leasing’s customers transport products such as paints, cosmetics, shampoo and other beauty products in our heater trailers.

Intermodal Container

Trailcon Leasing introduced the 53 foot intermodal container to the Canadian domestic shipping community. To this day, Trailcon Leasing remains on the leading edge of the intermodal container leasing sector. Our fleet of intermodal containers is specially designed to facilitate the carriage of goods by one or more modes of transportation without intermediate reloading. These containers are equipped to permit ready handling for transfer from one mode (road) to another mode (rail). The containers are built of very rigid construction and are very strong for repeated use. Trailcon Leasing’s intermodal containers are generally 53 feet in length and can be dry or insulated and equipped with an external heater or refrigeration unit.

Intermodal Container Chassis

Trailcon Leasing compliments the intermodal container fleet with a fleet of specialized intermodal container chassis. Our intermodal container chassis are trailers designed to support and carry either an empty or loaded container. It is a frame only construction, consisting of a bogie with structural rails and a bulkhead. The chassis frame has container locks, which secure the container to the frame for transport. This type of trailer is usually used during the transfer of an intermodal container between road and intermodal transport moves. The intermodal container chassis is a “trombone” type trailer with four locking positions for 40, 45, 48 and 53 foot containers.

Storage Van

Trailcon Leasing’s storage vans are an immediate solution to warehouse and storage challenges. Whether it is due to peak seasonal demands or decreasing storage space Trailcon has the mobile storage solution with dry storage vans, available in 45, 48 and 53 foot length. All our storage trailers are secure, clean, weather resistant and can be delivered at a moments notice.

Ground Storage

Trailcon Leasing’s ground storage units are constructed of steel. Our ground storage containers are safe, durable and strong. They have a welded steel tamper proof lock box to secure goods on any job site or storage application. These units are clean, wind and water tight, ventilated and dry. They are delivered by a tilt and load truck and do not require heavy equipment to off load. These containers are available in 20 and 40 foot lengths.
