Trailcon's reefer vans transport temperature-sensitive products such as produce, pharmaceutical supplies, and medicines. A reefer van is an insulated trailer that has an externally attached refrigeration unit. Generally 53 feet in length, with insulated floors, walls and roof, these trailers are designed to keep the internal temperature constant with the load. The reefer is usually diesel operated.
